Imagine your ceremony in our traditional whitewashed stone chapel, an intimate setting at the end of the peninsula. Plan your ceremony outdoors on a brilliantly green lawn, set against a breathtaking view of the Aegean. Or share your vows on our curve of golden sand, the only private sandy beach on Mykonos.

Afterwards, host your reception dinner and party in one of our beautiful restaurants or pool bars, or entertain right on the private sandy beach which provides a choice of exceptional scenery for stylish drinks receptions and photographic moments. For outdoor entertaining, there many spectacular possibilities, including the outdoor terrace of Mykonos Social Restaurant, the Oasis Pool & Lounge, Buddha-Bar Beach and the Santa Marina Beach Bar giving you the chance to dance the night away under the stars. Location

The exquisite Santa Marina, Mykonos is situated on the southern tip of Mykonos Island and is only a 15-minute drive from the airport is perfectly located for a quick fly and flop. Though it’s set in immaculate grounds, with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea, the standout feature has to be the pristine guest-only beach – Santa Marina is the only resort on the island that has its own secluded stretch of sand. We loved swimming out to the jetty in the midday sunshine before reclining in a comfy cabana. 

Perfect For

Couples who like the finer things in life will love this resort, whether for a honeymoon or destination wedding. It has its own private chapel, plus several options to hold the reception of your dreams. Having recently been renovated,  the accommodation is modern with contemporary pared-back interiors. As well as the rooms and suites, there are also 13 stunning villas, some with private pools. We stayed in a Superior Sea View Room, which came with a huge wood-framed king-sized bed, comfy lounge area and a spacious balcony where we often sat to watch the sunset with a glass of champagne.

What to do

With two beautiful pools to choose from (both with amazing views), you are spoilt for choice. We particularly enjoyed the adults-only Oasis Pool & Lounge, a tastefully designed infinity pool, which is surrounded by four sunken chill-out areas, complete with sofas and suspended chair pods.  We relaxed under the palms to the sound of ambient tunes, while the attentive staff kept the refreshments flowing. There’s also a sublime spa, in addition to a well-equipped gym and tennis court. 

What to eat

The sumptuous buffet breakfast is served in the Social House Pool Restaurant & Bar, with a menu option too. Here you’ll find a feast that includes hot Greek pastries, smoked salmon and plenty of sweet treats.  For dinner, you won’t find a better setting on the island than the Buddha-Bar Beach Mykonos, which is also open to the public and attracts a stylish crowd. We enjoyed the prawn and scallop stir-fry while watching jet-set guests arriving from their yachts on the sparkling, floodlit sea. 

What to see

Take the free shuttle to Mykonos Town and wander its picturesque streets and browse the boutiques. For views of the island’s famous sunsets, head to the iconic windmills – keep an eye out for Petros, the island’s resident pelican. If you are looking to party into the night, there are plenty of venues on the island. In summer, stay resort-bound for celebrity DJs in residence at Buddha-Bar Beach Mykonos.
